2008 Annual Meeting of Stockholders
The 2008 Annual Meeting of Stockholders of Allied Capital
Corporation will be held at the Westin Embassy Row Hotel,
2100 Massachusetts Avenue, NW, Washington, DC on Friday,
April 25, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. (Eastern Time). The doors
will open at 9:15 a.m., and a continental breakfast buffet
will be served.
Important Information You Should Know About Attending the Meeting
An
admission ticket will be required to attend the meeting.
If you are a stockholder of record, your ticket is attached
to your proxy card. If your shares are held in the name of
a broker or other nominee and you do not have an admission
ticket, please call your broker, trustee, bank, or other
nominee for a legal proxy, which will confirm your beneficial
ownership of the shares as of the record date, February 11,
2008. All stockholders will also be required to show a photo
identification.
